Since receiving her Bachelors in Theatre Arts from University of Oregon, Sophie has focused on creating events that blur the line between art and experience, actors and witnesses.

After completing her apprenticeship in Theatre Management at the Arden Theatre in Philadelphia, PA in 2013, she founded her own grassroots, multi-disciplinary theatre company in Arcata, CA; and moved to Texas in 2017 to manage production at the Off-Center for the Rude Mechs.

Since 2021, she has created and produced the locally notorious, interactive and immersive mythopoetic event “Bloody Easter” annually, and was one of the founding members of The Mysteries team in 2022, acting as production manager for every event they have produced.
